The Nike SB Air Force 1 x Yuto — also presented by Nike as the Nike SB AF-1 x Yuto — reworks the legendary 1982 Air Force 1 specifically for skateboarding, while adding the personal visual language of Yuto Horigome.

The upper combines Light Bone leather with Iron Grey accents and mesh quarter panels. A Washed Coral midsole reinforces the deliberately aged, vintage-inspired look. Underfoot, an encapsulated Nike Air unit in the heel stays true to the Air Force 1 heritage while providing cushioning for skate sessions and everyday wear.

Yuto’s signature treatment is built into the shoe rather than simply added as branding: his cross-feather family crest appears on the outer heel, his lucky number 7 is placed on the heel tab, “Yuto Horigome” is printed on the Nike SB tongue label, and the shoe uses custom Yuto sockliners. An antique-finish lace dubrae completes the retro aesthetic.

The project connects two different histories: the Air Force 1, introduced in 1982 as the first Nike basketball shoe to feature Nike Air cushioning, and modern Nike SB, with the AF-1 platform reworked here for skateboarding through Yuto Horigome’s signature edition.
