Hours Is Yours was developed by skateboarder Bryan Herman and footwear veteran Dennis Martin. The idea took shape in 2018 before the skater-owned brand formally opened in 2021. Both founders brought extensive experience in shoe design and the wider industry, as well as an understanding of what repeated sessions demand from footwear.
The label combines a restrained look with the everyday considerations of a skate shoe: reliable board feel, comfort and a construction intended for real use. Herman's years on a board matter here because design decisions start with skating rather than a purely seasonal fashion concept. Hours Is Yours also pays respect to classic shoe silhouettes, balancing familiarity with details shaped by the people behind the brand.
