EDGLRD is the experimental world created by filmmaker Harmony Korine, with a Miami base and interests ranging from movies to animation and skateboarding. Sean Pablo helped shape the skate division after leaving Fucking Awesome, bringing the perspective of someone already known for distinctive video parts and style.
The skate film Point Cloud illustrates the unusual direction: advanced visual effects, unconventional imagery and a cast including Eric Koston and Mike Arnold. EDGLRD's decks follow a similarly bold artistic language. It is not a traditional board company built around familiar team advertisements; it treats the skate video and the objects surrounding it as parts of a larger creative experiment.
