Landyachtz traces its roots to 1997, when friends Michael Perreten and Thomas Edstrand began building boards to make the journey around their university campus more exciting. The hills and winding roads of British Columbia soon shaped their approach to design. What started as a transport experiment grew into a Vancouver-based skateboard company.
Its world stretches from compact cruisers to longboards built for carving, downhill riding and everyday travel. Landyachtz also developed related components through Bear Trucks and Hawgs Wheels. Choosing one of these boards means thinking about turning radius, wheel softness and the ground you want to cover. It is skateboarding understood as movement, exploration and the pleasure of the ride itself.
