Madness Skateboards launched in 2018 within the Dwindle group, developing a bold identity around transition skating and unusual deck shapes. Its original crew included Sam Beckett, Clay Kreiner, Alex Perelson and Jack Fardell, riders whose lines through bowls and big ramps suited the company’s uncompromising style. Films such as Mentally Well and Extremely Foolish Behavior helped define that character.
The brand explored wide silhouettes, old-school references and different concaves alongside more conventional popsicle outlines. These choices are not purely visual: deck width, nose shape and wheelbase influence how a board handles at speed and through transition. BUD presents Madness as a distinctive chapter in contemporary skateboarding, where powerful skating and experimental board design meet.
