Dancer grew from Copenhagen's skate community through Hjalte Halberg, artist Anton Juul and clothing specialist Kevin Walter. Their project brings together years of skateboarding, illustration and a particular interest in well-considered clothing. It is deeply connected to friendships and the spaces that shaped the local scene.
Anton's drawings and graphics give the collections a recognisable visual language, while the skating behind the brand keeps it from feeling like an ordinary fashion exercise. Dancer is less concerned with making the loudest statement than with creating pieces that fit naturally into daily life. Its identity reflects Copenhagen's understated style and the idea that a skate company can express a broader creative community.
