Censorship Skateboards: uncompromising Spanish street skating

Censorship Skateboards emerged in Spain in 2020 around skateboarder Roberto Alemañ and Alex Valero. It takes inspiration from an independent tradition in which boards are a way to express character, not merely equipment with a label. The company name also recalls Randy Colvin's famous early-nineties World Industries graphic, a reference point for people interested in skateboard history.

Censorship brings that awareness of the past into contemporary street skating through striking artwork and its own approach to team identity. The graphics favour personality and impact over generic branding, giving each deck a recognisable mood. At BUD, Censorship offers a perspective from the Spanish scene for skaters who care as much about what is under their feet as how they skate.
