Free Dome is Geoff Rowley's independent skateboard project, shaped by the experience he gained through decades with Flip. Its familiar message, “Skate more, post less,” puts actual sessions ahead of the endless pressure to document them online. The idea is reflected in the brand's deliberately focused approach to skateboard decks.
Rowley has worked with Liverpool skate shop Lost Art on graphics that connect his hometown to the board company. Small runs and carefully considered artwork are part of the appeal. Free Dome isn't trying to recreate Flip's story; it gives Rowley a separate creative space to focus on skating, board shapes and the culture that first drew him to it.
