The Lakai Essex in Black / Shark Grey is Lakai’s take on “Crafted Modern Design”: a clean technical skate silhouette built around classic material blocking and functional paneling for breathability and a fast break-in.

A one-piece toe keeps the front clean and reduces seams in a high-wear area, while 3D-printed lateral texture reinforces the side where skating puts the shoe under stress.

Underfoot, Lakai’s PARA-MOUNT™ outsole uses dual-density rubber to combine cushioning underfoot with harder-wearing rubber where durability matters. The Hex-Tread pattern uses independently flexing hex pods to keep grip, boardfeel and 360-degree flexibility. Inside, the DELUX-LITE™ footbed adds lasting cushioning, heel stability and arch comfort.
