Venture Trucks: a street-skating staple since the eighties

Venture Trucks grew out of the Ermico foundry in the early 1980s, connected to the circle around Fausto Vitello. Initially offering an alternative to the established truck names, the brand found its audience as technical street skating began to develop. A relatively light construction and responsive geometry made Venture a familiar choice, including among influential riders such as Mark Gonzales.

During the early 1990s, Venture helped popularise lower truck profiles at a time when small wheels and technical setups were common. Different axle widths and heights now serve a broad range of board sizes. At BUD Skateshop, Venture represents the practical side of skateboard history: a piece of equipment that shapes the balance, steering and response of every trick long before anyone notices its logo.
