Sour Skateboards, also known as Sour Solution, grew from Swedish skateboarding before developing its own base in Barcelona. In the brand’s account of its early days, a crew of northern European skaters moved into a space in Poble-sec, lived together, filmed street spots and dreamed up new projects. Friendship and shared experience mattered as much as establishing a formal board company.
That freedom runs through Sour’s videos, where unusual spot choices, inventive skating and the individual character of its riders define the atmosphere. Deck graphics and clothing follow a similarly independent path, shifting between understated ideas and surreal humour. The label has become a distinctive meeting point between Scandinavian street-skating traditions and the energy of Barcelona’s everyday skate scene.
