Diamond Supply Co.: from skateboard bolts to streetwear

Nick Tershay launched Diamond Supply Co. in 1998 as a skateboard hardware label. Its early focus was on small components, yet the diamond emblem soon proved equally at home on caps, shirts and other streetwear. That transition was driven by skate culture rather than by a conventional fashion house, which helps explain the brand's lasting crossover appeal.

The 2005 Nike SB Dunk collaboration, nicknamed the Tiffany, became a defining moment for sneaker collectors. Turquoise panels, dark textured leather and a silver Swoosh turned a skate shoe into a cultural reference. BUD's Diamond selection reflects a name that connects board hardware, distinctive graphic design and clothing inspired by skateboarding.
