Haze Wheels was founded in Paris in 2010 by Bertrand Soubrier, who already knew the skateboard wheel business through his earlier project, Travel Wheels. The idea was to build an independent brand anchored in the European street scene. Its distinctive artwork, associated with designer Func'88, gives the range a visual personality beyond standard wheel graphics.
Haze has worked with skaters including Aurélien Giraud, Oscar Candon, Michael Mackrodt and Samuel Partaix. Their riding reflects the brand's focus on real pavement and technical street use. Diameter, durometer and shape all matter when choosing wheels, affecting speed, grip and the way a board breaks into a slide. BUD's Haze selection is a reminder that French skateboarding has developed its own hardware labels, not just its own spots and filmers.
