The Santa Cruz VX Wildflower is Fabiana Delfino’s Santa Cruz pro model, in the VX Wildflower version.

Santa Cruz has been making skateboards since 1973 and its visual history is inseparable from Jim Phillips, whose work helped give the brand some of skateboarding’s most recognisable graphics.

This version measures 8.25″ x 31.6″ with 14.00″ wheelbase. The width stays in a responsive street-oriented range without becoming overly narrow. The wheelbase keeps the stance compact and the turning response lively.

VX construction: five plies of North American maple are combined with two layers of Quad X composite. Santa Cruz describes VX as thinner, stronger and more pop-retentive than a standard 7-ply, reducing wood thickness without giving up the stiffness expected from a skate deck.
