The Powell Peralta Flight Skull Heron is Andy Anderson’s Powell Peralta pro model, in the Flight Skull Heron version.

Powell Peralta was founded in 1978 by George Powell and Stacy Peralta and became inseparable from the Bones Brigade era, VCJ graphics and some of skateboarding’s most durable visual icons.

This version measures 8.45″ x 31.8″ with 14.25″ wheelbase. The width gives a balanced amount of board underfoot for street, park and mixed terrain. The wheelbase keeps the stance compact and the turning response lively. The confirmed shape is Old school. Concave is High.

Flight construction: Powell builds Flight decks in Ventura from U.S. hard-rock maple and high-strength fiberglass, using its AirLam process fused with epoxy resin. Powell states that the construction is thinner and markedly more break-resistant than its standard 7-ply decks while retaining flex and a sharp rebound for long-lasting pop.

The confirmed high concave gives a more pronounced rail-to-rail curve and stronger foot reference than a mellow mold.
