The original Caballero Dragon came from sketches Steve Caballero supplied for his first pro graphic. V.C. Johnson reworked the crouching-dragon idea into the final illustration, first released in 1980 and kept in the line for years because of its immediate success.

This version measures 7.5″ x 28.65″ with 12.25″ wheelbase. The narrow format keeps the deck compact and quick edge-to-edge. The short wheelbase makes the turning arc compact and the stance relatively tight.

Construction: 7-ply maple in 100% Canadian maple.

The confirmed complete-spec components are 53 mm wheels, wheel hardness 90A.
