The New Deal Old School Ht Dsv is Ron Knigge’s New Deal pro model, in the Old School Ht Dsv version.

New Deal was started in 1990 by Andy Howell and Paul Schmitt as an alternative to the big-company system, with a young Ed Templeton among the early riders; its yellow-backed ads and early-1990s graphics became part of the brand’s cult status.

This version measures 8.6″ x 31.7″ with 14.00″ wheelbase. The wider outline puts more board underfoot and favours a planted, stable feel, especially on transition and larger terrain. The wheelbase keeps the stance compact and the turning response lively. The confirmed shape is Old school.

Construction: 7-ply maple.
